This rising star pianist is joined by Harpenden born guest flautist Katherine Birtles in a most unusual programme. The first half is devoted to the Préludes of Claude Debussy, including four new commissions inspired by such favourites as …La cathédrale engloutie and …La fille aux cheveux de lin. In the second half the players will be joined by much loved actress Patricia Hodge for 40 immersive minutes of nocturnal repertoire performed in near total darkness.
