Monte Piano Trio 19th Nov 2018 at The Bear Club Map
After their thrilling playing last season (Amy Beach and Antonin Dvořák especially memorable) it’s a pleasure to welcome back the Monte Piano Trio as part of our collaboration with London’s Conway Hall. Inspired by Richard Dehmel’s emotionally wrought poem, Schӧnberg’s Verklärte Nacht is programmatic music at its most intense. The Chausson is an early work of perfumed harmonies and dazzling passagework – an unusual treat indeed.
‘…passionate and perfectly matched …professionalism, freshness and clarity only heard from the very top international groups.’
