Heatwave Trio 1st Oct 2018 at the Bear Club Map
A spectacular opening to the season with three of the finest instrumentalists in the country coming together for a selection of unusual repertoire from their recent, highly acclaimed CD Heatwave. This will be a first visit to Music on Mondays for Juliette who is principal flautist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Daniel has played for us before with Sinfonia Academica and Simon, whom you may recognise as one of the official accompanists from Cardiff’s Singer of the World competition, has also often performed for us here in Luton. The unusual repertoire includes a new ‘swelteringly hot’ programmatic piece by Hitchin based Iain Farrington.
