Piano 4 Hands -
Piano 4 Hands return with a piece especially written for them by David Matthews. It tells the story of a contemporary composer’s admiration across the ages for one of the great Viennese masters – as indeed does Prokofiev’s irrepressible Classical Symphony.
Our President, Radio 3’s Petroc Trelawny, is particularly endorsing this concert as it will also include Daniel Kidane’s Jungle, a contemporary essay in urban dance music. Petroc was a judge on the BASCA panel, a competition for young British composers, which recently awarded a prize to Daniel for his outstanding portfolio of compositions.
